FTP Problems

Since x10hosting is oh-so reliable, and always works, I was very surprised when yet i had another problem with it.

My password is right, i can log into cpanel with it, but I can't log into FTP with it. It says wrong password.

First of all, if you don't like our FREE services, you can by all means leave. Good luck finding a free host better. Now, to your question, which FTP client are you using?

I am using FlashFXP, but I also tried it with ftp.exe, and it still did not work.

try using filezilla, :dunno: the client probably isn't the problem but i always use filezilla, it's the best in my opinion..

I already stated, I tried FlashFTP and ftp.exe, and neither work. It is a problem with x10.

I just logged into your FTP on two different computers and it worked fine. Maybe next time you should think twice before posting sarcastic comments, especially when the problem is on your end.

I would suggest getting a better FTP client like AceFTP or Filezilla. I've never heard anything but complaints about FlashFTP.

SmartFTP is also a good choice. I've used it for about 3-4 years and it's always worked fine with minimal problems.

If you are making it yourself, there is a likely chance there are some bugs in it. Try using the latest version of a well-known and respected FTP client. Try download.com for a list of them.
