FTP problems

My password nor username hasn't changed but for no apparent reason, both WSFTP Pro8 and FileZilla will not allow access to my site - claiming I have entered a wrong password.

It's been like this for about 3 days now, has anyone any ideas???

Can you log into cPanel?

In the FTP programs you are using, are you typing ftp.yoursite.x10hosting.com or ftp://yoursite.x10hosting.com? Because you need to put ftp.yoursite.x10hosting.com

If you are using your main account, enter that username and password, if you are using another one (let's say your account is user one).
If you are using your account, you'd type something like this:
Username : user one
Password : one one

But if you are using an FTP account you created, it'd be liek this:
Usename : usertwo@yoursite.x10hosting.com
Password : usertwo
