I'd be grateful for help here, I'm getting a headache.

I added my own domain to my free account using 'Addon Domains' in my cPanel. I then set up FTP access, but I was only offered '@buildemaillist.x10.mx' (my free domain) as an option and consequently the FTP server is: ftp.buildemaillist.x10.mx

I would have thought that because I had added my own domain, I would also have been offered '@myowndomain.biz' as an option and consequently the FTP server would have been: ftp.myowndomain.biz

So as things stand, will I be able to upload files to 'myowndomain.biz' given the fact that the ftp seems to be linked to my free domain as shown above?

If you did not point 'myowndomain.biz' to your [ public_html ] folder it will have its own folder inside the [ public_html ] folder where
you can upload files with a client FTP

Your account has FTP set-up for it - I am not sure what you added

SEE --> http://x10hosting.com/wiki/How_to_Upload_Files_to_Your_Website

First of all, I have deleted my own domain from the Addon Domain part of my cPanel and started again. This time I have chosen the Parked Domain route. However, my own domain was pointing to x10's nameservers, so it was set up. My problem was that I couldn't get FTP access set up to my own domain. Instead it pointed to x10's free domain. The cPanel wouldn't let me set up FTP access using the root name of my own domain. By the way, FTP access wasn't already in place.

The other problem that I am having is that when I upload the files I have on my PC to the public_html/ folder, the images on my site do not resolve correctly. What I have been uploading is as follows:

Folders: cc (contains .txt files), css (style.css), images (contains .jpg/gif/png files and another folder containing more images)
Files: disclaimer.html, index.php, privacy.html, privacy.php, terms.html, terms.php

Could it be that the problem is the second image folder contained within the image folder. In other words, should I just put all the images in one folder and dispense with the sub-image folder?
