FTP Timeout

Almost everytime I try to do an FTP tranfer using SmartFTP I get the following error.

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
Timeout (180s).

Client closed the connection.
Transfer failed.

It usually happens more when I am transferring several files, e.g. downloading a folder to my computer and vice versa.

Something similar happened to me. I use CuteFTP and sometimes, when I upload many files(for example, recently, phpBB), I get a timeout error. But I just reconnect to the server and CuteFTP continues with the transfer. Not a problem at all.

same problem here but it just reconnects automatically so no biggy really.
