Ftp

Hello, I just signed up for the Ad-Enhanced hosting to see how everything goes, but I'm not sure how to log into my FTP account using FileZilla.

If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated.

Hi

Try the following, (FileZilla 3.0.1)

1. Open FileZilla
2. From the Top menu bar select File --> Site Manager (ctrl +s)
3. Click New Site, give meaningful name.
4. Type the following:

General Tab:

Host: ftp.yourdomainname.x10hosting.com
Port: leave blank
ServerType: FTP- File Transfer Protocol
LoginType: Ask for password
Username: type username

[/COLOR][/B]Note: In the Advanced Tab you can also specify a default local directory, so every time you connect to the ftp account it will automatically change to that folder on your local machine where your files are kept.

5. Click Ok
6. Under the File Menu, there should be a computer/network icon with a drop down arrow, click the drop down arrow and select your domain.
7. Type in your password.
8. That’s it you should be login and ready for transfer.
