Hello, my name is Brad. :) Somewhere just under a week ago I signed up with x10 and have since been very pleased with it. I have one problem though. For some reason, I cannot make my domain function properly with my x10 hosting account.

Account Details:
Type - Free
Username - guzekfx
Domain: guzekfx.x10hosting.com

The problem that I'm having is that my real domain (which is registered with Yahoo! Small Business) won't seem to work with x10's hosting. I've tried making an Addon Domain and didn't have any luck with that. And yes, the DNS is set to x10's name servers. However, whenever I try to access my domain (from either home or school), I get this page =>

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c367/bradgsystem/MISC/ss1.jpg

As you can see, the domain is http://www.guzekfx.net/ . Somehow while I was messing around with the Addon Domains in CPanel, a folder was created in my Public_HTML folder called guzekfx.net . That is when I started getting the page in the screenshot above. This occurred, BTW, 3 days ago. So I figured, "Cool, my domain's set up now, just gotta put the site in there." So I went in and copied all my site files from the root of Public_HTML into the guzekfx.net folder (including the index.html) and tried it again. But it still showed the exact same screen. It doesn't show the other folders that I put in there ("images" and "pages"), and also it doesn't show any of the files ("index.html" or "main.css"). I have no clue whatsoever about why it would be doing this.

Oh, and for the record, I tried viewing my site in all of the following browsers with the associated operating systems:
IE6, Windows 2000 / 98
IE7, Windows XP
Firefox 2, Windows 2000

Does anyone have any idea why this is?? Sorry for the long post, but I've never done anything like this before (this is my first dealing with anything more than domains that redirect) and I wanted to be sure to document the problem thoroughly. Thanks ahead of time to anyone that can assist.

- Brad

Aron, thank you very much for the reply, I greatly appreciate it. However, I'm not sure that I understand the meaning of the following statement:

first make sure all files 755 chmod i am very sure that your problem

Is 755 chmod a directory in my files somewhere?? I'd answer that myself, but for some reason I can't log into CPanel (it brings up the login page, so I enter my info, then it just refreshes the login page. Doesn't say wrong UN or PW or anything, just doesn't load CPanel.) Otherwise, I'm afraid that I don't know what you mean Aron.

As far as the DNS are concerned, I believe (of course I could be wrong) that they are set up properly. Here's a shot of my Yahoo! page:

Thanks again Aron for helping me with this.

EDIT: I Googled that bit about CHMOD and found out what that is (kinda.. at least how to do it if not what it means). So I went into the guzekfx.net folder (using FireFTP for Firefox since I still can't log into CPanel) and set the CHMOD of the folder to 0755 as well as the CHMOD for the index.html file, main.css file and all subdirectories and files therein. However, unless this has an update time on it, it seems to have not had any effect, as I still get the same page when I point Firefox at my site. Here is a screen shot of my FTP settings, if that helps:

Thank you again for the help Aron!

There were issues with cPanel yesterday. I cleared the entries, try adding it as an add-on again.

Thank you VERY much Corey. I honestly don't think that I could properly express my gratitude for that. The domain works just fine now! Thanks again Corey, and Aron too!
