I have installed the menalto gallery on my site, but when i upload the images they do not show up, the image link is the only thing that shows up I am not sure how to fix this issue, it was working earlier this week. My web site is http://www.visions.x10hosting.com/gallery

There should be a section where it lets you rebuild thumbnails. Try that out. If it doesn't work, there might be a problem with GD.

I ran the rebuild, has not done a thing.

Are you referring to the debug mode, i turned that on to see if there were any errors. It wouldn't be a install error because this problem occurred when I had the older version installed earlier this week, I then upgraded to see if it would fix the problem, but it did not.

Any more suggestions on what my be happening. Could it be with the server?

did you cross check your permissions when you installed it? incorrect permissions lead to installation problems

So I suggest a fresh install with correct permissions set.

I have done a few installs. I use the install from fantastico, should I manually install it you think?

Yep, always so you can have control over the installation and it's software. Like me with phpbb, I do all installations and upgrades regardless of which phpbb version it is. Why because I can get a clear understanding on a number of settings and if anything is wrong, I see it at installation.

Thanks for the help. Here's another question when i go to install i get this error

Error: Essential filesystem operations are disabled in your PHP by the disabled_functions parameter in php.ini. You must allow these functions before Gallery will run. These functions are missing: readfile.

Corey's disabled the script for now, as it was causing a lot of problems and we were unable to fix them.

disabled 'the script'?

Sorry but my ignorance always catches me out.
Anyway I just came back to tell you all that today the images spontaneously all came back (as mentioned by IGMN91).
Like you said IGMN91 --> thanks a heap guys!
All back on track!
Best wishes all and thanks!
Sincerely,
Tom.
