Hi

I am unable to remove my Gallery from Fantastico. Getting the following error when I click the 'remove' link...

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico//includes/enc_removeconfirm.inc.php on line 26

Can I remove it by just deleting the folder (/mygallery/) and the SQL database manually? Will it allow me to re-install again on the same folder?

Thanks in advance
Jitendra

Yes you can do that but just remember to remove the fantastico entry for it in the fantastico folder toher wise fantastic will think that you still have it installed...

wh00p101 is correct, the fantastico folder is located before your public_html folder(Your root directory). It is called .fantastico Inside there, there will be a folder for the gallery, remove that along with the files and database.

Hi

I have done as advised and removed all traces of my old Gallery.

I have now reinstalled the Gallery from Fantastico but its when I go to the URL (http://digitaljit.x10hosting.com/mygallery/main.php), its showing a 'blank' (white) page only. :dunno: FYI, I am using IE7.

Please help....
Edit:
Hi Corey

I could not find a .fantastico folder on my root. There is a folder called .fantasticodata and a folder called fantastico_backups.

The .fantasticodata folder had a folder called gallery under it. I have deleted that.

Thanks
Jitendra

I believe there are issues with Gallery trying to use exec or shell_exec, see if you can find where it is trying to use them and comment it out.

Hi Corey

I was surfing the web for this error and found this at URL http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:...rying_to_view_my_Gallery.2C_what.27s_wrong.3F

-----
I get only a blank screen when trying to view my Gallery, what's wrong?

This can have various reasons. The first thing you should check is your PHP memory limit and other PHP configuration parameters. In most cases, G2 requires a memory limit of at least 16 MB, if you are using GD, it may require even a higher limit.
-----

Cound this be the reason for the 'blank' page? I do not know PHP but can this be fixed from my end?

Warm Regards
Jitendra

Go into your account panel and request the advanced PHP, I'll approve it and we'll see if it works.
