Well... is it possible to make a board for people to post stuff about BattleField 2 on it... and make that website server... a server for the game server too?

I know that you can make a forum where can you post BF2 but I do not think you can use the web-site as a server.

I don't know a lot about BF2, but I know that for most games you must have it installed (or it's server version) on server to use that computer as game server. So, in that case, you won't be able to use any kind of hosting, except the one where you get direct and full control of server (e.g. dedicated server) as game server.

I highly doubt it. Unless you own the server yourself, renting dedicated server can cost anything from $50 to $xxxx depending on it's features.

Along with what Torch said, you'll pay much more depending on the tick rate of the server (usually 66-tick or 100-tick, 100 being the most expensive)
