Hi,

I am attempting to start up a web shop and I have used two pre built applications for my site. Open eShop and a bb forum. What I'm wondering is how can I get in contact with x10 hosting to ask about their policies on GDPR. For example, as the data that is collected is stored in databases on x10 servers, what implications does that have on me a sole trader collecting peoples' information.

Secondly, what assurances do we have that the web applications that are provided by Softaculous are robust and secure enough to use "straight out of the tin" and that they comply with GDPR. Or even if they have back doors or any vulnerability, given that they are mostly open source.

Thanks

Jon

By "bb forum" do you mean phpBB, MyBB, PunBB, FluxBB, bbPress, miniBB or some other forum?
According to Softaculous Open eShop is released under the GNU GPL Version 3.
