Does anyone have a solution to getting rid of the My Music, My Videos and My Pictures folders permanently? I find them very annoying coz although I don't have anything in those folders and I keep deleting them, they keep reappearing. I found something on the net on unregistering the dlls and tried it. It worked but every time a program tries to access them, the folders are recreated. Why can't they just ask you where to point instead? I wouldn't even mind if they'd put a one time error that says "The 'My Music' folders is not available. Would you like to recreate the folder, select another folder to access or take my to My Documents instead?"
Microsoft has come up with some very annoying stuff in XP, this one being the worst. I can't for the life of me understand why MS has this need to dictate how we use our folders.
