For dummies like me attempting this for the first time and who do not have programs like frontpage, dreamweaver, etc. Create your site on something like msword with your first page saved as index.html. All site pages (except index) must be saved in one folder with links referring to pages in this folder. Send the index and folder to a zip file. On control panel go to file manager and upload the zip file to public_html. Extract.

Or you could just download a free template from http://www.freecsstemplates.org/ and modify accordingly

Go to Cpanel-fantastico-choose a application that suits your needs. Install application from the fantastico panel. Follow instuctions, and withing minutes you have a full functional website.

Now comes the hard part of making it look and feel the way you want it to.
