Gmail Rumour

I heard this rumour about Gmail, saying that they save everysingle email you recieve and send, even if you delete it or even if you delete your account.

That's kinda freaky! I was going to get a gmail account but I don't them spying on everything I write and send/recieve.

Has anyone heard about this!

i still use gmail. i dont care if they look at my email. all theyll find is a bunch of requests for banner exchanges and business transactions. nothing illegal that you wouldnt want them to look.

and besides that, its so dang fast!

look, me 2, I've got my ISP's e-mail for "serious" e-mails, but for every-day use, I use my two gmail accounts.

BTW, even if the keep a copy of each e-mail, every user receives, can u imagine how much time would be needed, just to look at the topics?

i imagine they probably do save our emails just to get more ads to make money
but hey if you were google wouldnt you do the same?

the big rumor im hearing now is google IM and google public free wi-fi..

i only use gmail for my website, when i get my domain i will use my sites email service

I'm happy to have a Gmail account, but I really don't care whether google is or isn't looking at my e-mails, it's just if somebody were to hack into the google system, and maybe get a few credit card #'s or a few social security #'s...
good thing I'm 14 and don't need to worry.

Lol a google OS now that is just unbelievable! I doubt they would jus yet. Let them stick to google search, gmail, google maps, and there idea of a ISP (wi-fi?)

well os'es arent hard to develop these days.

you can create linux distros based on Linux and call them os'es if you like.

maybe google will consider that.

google email is very good but it is a beta version(I think it is still though) I saw somewhere that said some people just emailed a person, for a joke and in it he just but stuff like this example-(asfd45sf465saf4) and for some reason he got a email back and it had the guy that he emailed's password and all of his emails, but I still use it for stuff that is not realllllllly important and it is good
