Going straight to webpage

Hi

I uploaded my website into public_html but instead of going straight to my HTML page the browser displays a number of files and folders. How do I make it so the browser opens my HTML file straight away?

Rename the file which you want to open to index.html. I think you want the A.html to open, so rename it index.html.

How do you make a php file (Index.php) open first. redirects are annoying.

index.php will open first .... check your case... not sure what priority is, but index.html or index.htm might have higher priority...

Ohhhh.... I always capitalize my files.
