I have found a really good program called SketchUp from @Last Software which allows you to create 3D environments, buildings, etc. It is used be architects and designers a like. Although it is normally easy to use, some bits may take a while to get used to. It is really great, Windows are see through (using 'glass and transperent' paint catagory) and allows you to see the walls inside etc. It allows you to view your building/environment in colour, lines only and many more views.
To try it, you can download an 8 hour trial version by filling in the form at

or download the trail directly from
http://download.sketchup.com/30ED6/InstallSketchUpW5.0.150ENA.exe
As a rating, I would give this program a 9/10 at the least. Good work @Last Software Inc.
Note: If you want to buy it, it can cost up to $500 ($99 for users of previous versions to upgrade)
