So, who here has a high end PC?

You do? So then you must have a kick-ass card ya?

You do? Cool, What is it?!

Yup, pretty much, what's your card right now? I'm only putting up the top 10 cards taken from the Bench mark testing sites.

I my self Have the 8800GT Self Clocked to 705 Core and 1005 Memory speeds.... =P

dual sli setup using 7600gt cards I actually choose those over the 8800s because the 7600s had 512mb vid ram giving me a total of 1gb graphics memory to go with the 4gb ddr2 on my main board :D

ATI Radeon 9250. Good enough to play Civ4, so I'm happy :)

Not good enough to play Bioshock, but then again neither is the rest of the pc, so I'm not exactly upset about that either.

256MB is enough for anybody...

I don't trust the way mine says it's 'sharing' 768MB system memory as well though...

That's what it says:
Well, 767MB

Not that I'm too fussed, because I don't think there's that much that'll need 1GB graphics card memory at the moment.

EDIT:
According to a Microsoft white paper, it sounds like this is only available if something else isn't taking up the memory, and is of a low priority.
Shared system memory is a portion of the system memory that can be used by the graphics subsystem when needed. For discrete graphics adapters, this type of memory is often referred to as “non-local video memory”—that is, far from the GPU. The shared memory is available to other subsystems or non-graphics applications when it is not being used by the graphics subsystem. Thus, it is never guaranteed to be available for graphics because it could already be in use.

I have 2.

On this PC I have a 6200OC Geforce at 256 mb.

On my PC at home, however I have an ATI Radeon X1300 Pro at 256 MB.

Okay, not the newest or the shiniest, but the price was right. (and the purchase was more than a year ago)
