GZIP Compression for Zen Cart

I have been reading through the wiki for Zen Cart and it suggests turning the GZIP compression feature on except if the server already has "output buffering." http://tutorials.zen-cart.com/index.php?article=255

I have checked server information as per wiki instruction but get a blank page.



I am wondering two things:

• How do I show server information through my Zen Cart admin?
• Whether "output buffering" is currently being performed by the server?

well, when I was on stoli, GZip compression worked with phpBB3, and all servers should have the same configuration (exept the paid ones). Do your browser support it?

Also, I don't know how it is with the PHP versions, but I think it would work on the intermeditate version because I ran my phpBB3 that way
