Nice template, but the text could be a bit more brighter. It looks a bit dull when you compare it to the banner.

I like the banner and the colors are easy on the eyes. I like the blue text myself.

Maybe you could lighten up some blacks, or add some more white acents into their.
All the blacks seem to just merge together, and the white text pops out and hurt my eyes.

But the concept of the layout is good

Template looks good and banner is kool. However white text is blaring out whereas blue is getting blend with background. May be you would like to choose something in between.
