I have just moved from the free accounts to a paid membership, hence a new account, thus a new name, blah blah blah.

Anyway, seeing how I will have no need to post under my free account after my services are transferred, i figured it to be appropriate to say hello under the new account.

You don't need new forum account, Actually you don't require any account on forum. You can use the old forum account.
