i have just re-registered, but why is it that my hosting account is still pending, as far as i remember, in my first registration, my pending hosting account was activated immidiately, why is that?

The registration times vary depending upon the current demand and any backlog that may have built up. If this is the case, then it could be a day or two before your request gets to the front of the queue for creation.
Also, you mention a first account, you should be aware that you are only allowed one account?
