Hi there.

Sorry for newbie question, but i'm tired of reading all over the internet with no success.

Here's what i've done:

1º - I've bought one x10hosting VPS: http://x10vps.com/vps-basic.php and choose B3 one
2º - Installed EHCP (http://ehcp.net/) on it.
3º - Created new free domain on https://www.co.cc called prepower.co.cc with following details: <TABLE border=0 cellSpacing=3 cellPadding=3 width="100%" height=120><TBODY><TR><TD width=120>Name server : <TD>ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
4º - Created new domain on my VPS called prepower.co.cc. When i access it throught IP it works, when i access by prepower.co.cc nothing happens.

Can you tell me please what's the problem? I've already used ehcp, and for me better than webmin, but this this time not working.

Many thanks for helping.

instead of setting the name servers for your domain, leave them as the default and make an A record to your site IP (so do NOT use x10hosting's nameservers, but use the nameservers of your domain registrar. Then, make an A record for the co.cc to point to your site's IP)

I put the following information on co.cc:
Host: prepower.co.cc
TTL: 1D
Type/Priority: A
Value: my site's IP

Maybe this, right?

Many thanks.

Yes. Currently there isn't dns for VPS services as there isn't any control panel to add entries into(to point them to your VPS)

sorry

kb = knowledge base if you log into http://clients.x10hosting.com

you should see

Knowledgebase
Browse our KB for answers to FAQ

if you click on it then you should see a VPS section click on that

you should see an article called
Setting up Nameservers: BIND (Named) [CentOS] click on that

its a guide on how to set up webmin and then set up a Nameserver
