I signup yesterday and i'm new and i need some help on text/html how do i add it into my site

First get a FTP client like Filezilla then make a index.html or .php then upload it using your FTP client.

You can also upload files using the File Manager in your cPanel. Also you can use Fantastico features of cPanel to quickly throw together an entire CMS even.

I've always used the file manager. I didn't know all that other junk existed xDD
