i dont know how to use FTP to up load stuff on there

No.. it comes with the cpanel.. Go to your Cpanel. then look for File Manager.. Then go to Public_html folder.. then upload you site.. if you have to create a folder you will see something like create new folder.

you have to login, with the information provided in your email, please before signing up you shouldve looked into how to use any/all the features that are provided, you dont just sign up then not know how to do anything

thats if you have a domain, which im guessing you dont so you dont have to worry about that,

no the place you put stuff is either in a folder called public _html or you go all the way to the bottom of cpanel after you login and click on the fantastico icon. After you click on it you will see a list of software and descriptions of what can be installed. Click on the desired software to install, fill in the details and there you go you should have a site up and running. Hope this helps.
