help index html

when i upload files they are only viewable in cpanel in legacy file manager
how do i upload a html file to public html folder
if in move something form home/arobro to home/arobro/public_html it comes up with this message
file opfailer on :/home arobro index.html no sutch file or directory

Try to connect with FTP manager and then upload your files.
Upload your files in www and it should work.

ok i have uploaded html files to www it let me move them to home/arobro folder but not home/arobro/public_html folder
it still comes up with this message
/home arobro index.html no sutch file or directory
any iders???

When you FTP'd, was there a public_html folder? If so, have you changed the permissions on it at all?
