Help.. My hosting is fudged

While someone was using my computer, they managed to fudge my hosting

username should be yoda
account should be Corprate

also if possible could I get a backup of the phpbb3 stuff (both files and database) as it seems to be stuffed, or will it fix itself up??

You just let strangers use your computer?

It was someone in my family but I'm not sure who it was..cos I was busy at the time.

Edit: could an Admin change it to "Help.. My hosting is fudged". I only realised this was a mistake I made :redface:

Done; by the way, what do you mean by fudged? Someone just dumped files into it/messed things up? Try to make whatever backup you can for your important files, then I guess you can have the account wiped and reset

It appears to be like Cpanel is messed up as I can't log in with my username "yoda" (yes I have checked the Modify account section and it still says yoda) and my phpbb3 test board (which is meant to be for users from another board to test out) can't access the MySQL database (could that be due to the fact that someone has messed with my cpanel<-> forum link??)

It is frustrating, as i have 19 users on there and my last forum backup was 2 weeks ago. My fault I know but if it can be slavaged, it would be great. Saves me starting from scratch again.

Not to be bumping this topic but is it possible to check the cpanel username for my account and get it reset back to "yoda"??

there is nothing wrong with ur phpbb3. when the username was changed, the database name changed. you need to redo the mysql stuff to get it working again.

most likely, someone has changed ur username. im guessing its pretty hard to get the username if u dont know it, even for staff.

Even if they reset it I'll be fine with that. Just so long as I can get to the forum's database files and change them.
