After selecting MyBB, click on the Install link. Follow the on screen instructions. Softaculous will handle everything including creating a database. Enjoy! Manual Method First, download the MyBB package from http://www.mybb.com/ Then upload the contents of the "Upload" folder (in the archive) to your desired directory (such as public_html/forums or directly into public_html) Next, head to cPanel and create a MySQL Database/User. Refer to this: http://x10hosting.com/wiki/How_to_Create_a_MySQL_Database_and_User Then go to your MyBB installation such as http://mydomain.com/forums/install (MyBB uses the install folder name). Fill in the desired information including the SQL information from earlier. Use 'localhost' as the MySQL host. Follow the on screen instructions and enjoy! Last edited: Nov 18, 2010
