Help Needed....

I have installed Drupal in my account. When i logged in to my admin account it says two errors

1. It Says " Cron has not run. It appears cron jobs have not been setup on your system. Please check the help pages for configuring cron jobs. You can run cron manually".

2. "Operations on Unicode strings are emulated on a best-effort basis. Install the PHP mbstring extension for improved Unicode support."

How do i solve these problems. I am a newbie and also i am not a expert coder so i need your help to solve these problems.

This would be a question for the script creator, we do not officially support scripts we do not make.

Hi fordac,

there are 2 things you have to do. Firstly make sure your account has at least some basic PHP allowed. That you have to active in your account here. As for the CRON, just click on run CRON manually.

This would ensure that you won't over use the servers here via automatic CRON. Just run in once a week. Of course you need to back up your site more often than that.
