i been at it for days but i cant seem to get it installed.. i read the instructions precisely and no luck. it says to install into the root directory so i did but when i typed "myurl.elementfx.com/setup.php i get a 404 file not found error.

i delete all files out of my root directory and instead put them in my "www" folder and deleted public_html. it was going fine it installed and everything. but problem is i installed it but i type "myurl.elementfx.com" and it dont connect at all in other words "connection was reset while the page was loading error in firefox". i type "myurl.elementfx.com/index.php" and gives me a "500 server error" but sometimes gives me the problem loading page error.

has anyone ever installed this? if so could you help me?

Wait. Are you trying to install PHP on your account? Every account comes with PHP enabled. And no, you shouldn't have deleted public_html - that's your web site's root for web pages. Get it out of the Trash as soon as you can.

the www folder is a shortcut to the public_html folder!

when you install something like that when it refers to the root folder its means public_html folder

Just if I may ask ...
After downloading the latest version of php fusion php-fusion-6-01-13-full ...
& you unzipped it, are you sure you uploaded ONLY the files inside the "php-files" folder to public_html? Those are the ones that are needed ... & not all the contents of "php-fusion-6-01-13-full" ...
