Hi,
I've put off asking this question for several weeks as I have tried to resolve it myself but just can't fix it. On my site (hamishread.com on absolut) I am unable to post new post. The last time I was able to was about the 16th of January but from memory the MySQL databases were lost just after this in which I uploaded one of my backups. I have since not been able to do a single post. I've just tried reuploading my blog with an older back up (late December) and older MySQL database back up which also doesn't work. Now I do get an error message though when trying to post a new post which is:
"
WordPress database error: [INSERT command denied to user 'hread_hread'@'localhost' for table 'wp_posts']
INSERT IGNORE INTO wp_posts (post_author, post_date, post_date_gmt, post_content, post_content_filtered, post_title, post_excerpt, post_status, post_type, comment_status, ping_status, post_password, post_name, to_ping, pinged, post_modified, post_modified_gmt, post_parent, menu_order, post_mime_type) VALUES ('1', '2008-02-10 16:48:52', '2008-02-10 03:48:52', 'test', '', 'tes', '', 'publish', 'post', 'open', 'open', '', 'tes', '', '', '2008-02-10 16:48:52', '2008-02-10 03:48:52', '0', '0', '')

WordPress database error: [INSERT command denied to user 'hread_hread'@'localhost' for table 'wp_term_relationships']
INSERT INTO wp_term_relationships (object_id, term_taxonomy_id) VALUES ('0', '4')

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/hread/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/wp-db.php:160) in /home/hread/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 391"

I really would appreciate some help as I am completly lost and really need to update my site.

Thanks,

Matt

It should be fixed. You had to give the MySQL user permissions to INSERT in the database, this can be done in cPanel. I've done it for you.
This has been solved many times, I'm sure if you've used the search function you'll have found out how to fix the problem.
