i have all ready read the MySQL Problems on Stoli? Follow this tutorial!

I am trying to install V-Bulletin an i can not get it to connect to the database it gives me a Database error
i have checked over an over in the config.php file an i have everything config right i think.....


$config['Database']['dbtype'] = 'mysql';

$config['Database']['dbname'] = 'forums_vb';

$config['MasterServer']['servername'] = 'mysql.x10hosting.com';
$config['MasterServer']['port'] = 3306;

$config['MasterServer']['username'] = '??????';
$config['MasterServer']['password'] = ??????';


I am wondering if that is the right port or somthing i am doing wrong Can some one help me please....

C-Panel username is FORUMS all low case

is the dbname [your cPanel name]_whatever you called it?

What do you mean like forums_Vb If so yes

No, like if your cPanel username is bob and you named the database forums.... it should be inputted as such:

bob_forums or yourcPanelname_whatyoucalledit

Well i am doing it right my C-Panel username is forums my database name is VB so that would be forums_vb.... An i am still getting the database error!!!!!!
