I was trying to restore some files and my database after a bad upgrade experience that ruined my forum functionality, The actual files restored perfectly but the Database doesnt seem to be restoring at all. I deleted the corrupt database from mysql in Cpanel then went to r1soft to restore it ... R1soft would appear to be restoring the database for like 25 minutes , then there would just be nothing, So I am not really sure what is going on , I did some research here on the forums and one post stated that an admin had to restore the database. That post was about 6 years old , but if this is still true , can someone please help me ?
