help with fantastico

Didnt know if i needed to post it here but didnt know where else...
so if its in wrong place please move it, kinda new here.

Whenever i try to install a fantastico script i basicly can't write ANY directory, unless i leave it blank i can't install it...:dunno:

My site is http://amaranthot.x10hosting.com , could anyone make an example to make like a map inside the root folder where fantastico installs it?

Yeah I noticed this problem a while back as well. Fantasico doesn't like to install into directories that have already been created, or directories that aren't in the root of the site. What are you trying to install? Sometimes its easier to upload a zip file onto your site and then uncompress it using the file manager.

Otherwise you will have to install the software into your root directory or into a new directory which is in your root directory.
