Help with phpBB3, I want to register user manually myself.

Hi,

I am having this problem here.

I have a website, where I am offering free download to some of my widgets.

Also I have setup a phpBB3 forum so that people can review the widgets there and give feedbacks.

While user downloads the widget I am asking him to choose a username / passwd, so that I can have a track as to which user is downloading what all stuffs etc etc.

Now I dont want my users to take pain and register seperately for phpBB3 forum.

What I want is that as user choose a username / passwd while downloading the widgets, I also associate the same username / passwd with the phpBB3 forums.

Something kindda SSO (Single Sign On). But I dont have enough knowledge as to where I need to make entries about username and passwd.

Can someone help me with this ??

You can allow that a guest can download and post on your phpbb3 forum. It is just the permission. But i can't do what you ask.
I know a mod that you can add a user in acp. I will attach it.

Basically I guess here i need someone who has a bit knowledge on table structure o PHPBB3.....what all tables are populated when a user register in the forum...

Anyways lemme see the mod u sent, allowing as guest is not what i want
