Help with setting up IonCube Loader

I'm trying to encrypt my PHP files using IonCube but it's not working. I created the IonCube folder in my account and put the Loader along with my PHP files and encrypted them but I get errors when I try to use the encrypted files.

My accounts PHP version is 4.0.10.14 and I did notice that IonCube has a legacy Loader package named Solaris (sparc 32 bits) version 4.0.10. Should I use that Loader instead?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

IonCube Loader is an executable binary, and you do not have the ability to run it (or to modify php.ini to call it). If it's not available as an optional PHP module under the PHP version selection - that is, if it isn't already installed and configured with the correct permissions - you can't use it on Free Hosting.

It's all good I found another solution using PHP LockIt. I was able to achieve what I wanted to do using it. Thanks for your reply nonetheless.
