Hi,

Please help?

I have set up my website's main domain as:

http://black-white-computers.co.cc

in my account profile but it does not work as it should?

It will work when I use http://black.white.computers.x10.mx as the main domain.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

Did you by chance set up any weird redirects in cpanel?

That's the problem although I'm not sure what's causing it. The 301 is redirecting the co.cc to a cz.cc which isn't registered.

It only works when I go to:

http://www.black-white-computers.co.cc/index.html

and not

http://www.black-white-computers.co.cc

where do I find the .htaccess file?

It is in public_html with index.html and other files.

You have to make sure that 'hidden' files are enabled ( files beginning with a dot are usually not listed ).

If that is all that is in the file, erase it all and just save an empty file. That is what is causing the problem.

Make sure to clear your browser chache/history after doing that but before you test to see if it worked.

Works fine from my end. You might be picking up a stale information that your ISP has cached. Give it a little time.
