With my hosting, there are directories I have that will load but not show, and I know all the files are there.

It's probably best to provide an example since I have no idea what you are talking about.

I'm guessing you want a user to be able to type in a URL like http://site.com/directory/ and have all the files inside of directory be listed, so that the user can click on one and load it.

If so (you weren't very clear), create a .htaccess file inside the directory where you want this kind of functionality and add this line to the contents of .htaccess:

Options +Indexes

No, I mean like, I have a directory like blah.x10hosting.com/forum/admin and it won't work, it did. Now it doesn't.

So you most likely have a problem with PHP, login to your account panel.

http://x10hosting.com/login and request an upgrade to v2(Intermediate)
