Hey my account acts funny

Hello People am a newbie... a very fast learning newbie there is some issue.. initially my account homepage would show nothing in my personal information
i would not do anything and things would come up automatically..
now it shows tht my contact email is unknown....
and now its not takin my email address :x... can anyone pls suggest how to update my email, i dont wanna miss upon any newsletters from x10.
