According to how the laws related to not being allowed to subliminally advertise your products or services, such subliminal actions are "OKAY" as long as it is not for the advertiser to benefit from extently, or if it is online.

Well, I am wondering, what people know regarding this grand subject, as it would be great to use subliminal advertising.

I have been thinking of using words that are QUITE FAINT on the background of my sites that inquire hidden, sales reciprocals.

Above from that, I am wondering if anyone knows of a script or such that would make words pop up on the screen within the milliseconds (invisible to the eye, but not the brain), that I can use on my site?

Or if anyone new of how to develope one. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Allways been kinda tempted to try something like that with an animated GIF image but never quite got around to it. Of course the thought of being 'Hung, Drawn & Quatered' probably had something to do with it.

Supermarkets of course have the subliminal bit down to a fine art and web design uses many of the same concepts, such as choice and use of colours, page/shelf layout, navigation paths through the store or site and even background music on occasion.

NB: There is a small clause in Google Adsense about not making web page links that can be confused with their adverts colour scheme.

Doesn't work on me!! I'm primarily price driven and calculate the unit price of 'special offers', compare it with the price of the other similar products, other stores, And also previous experience with the quality of the particular product. When it comes to foodstuffs I look at the labelling to assess whether corners have been cut to save costs (eg sausages with meat from all sorts of animals and ... other sources).

Enjoy the ban from Google and other search engines.

I know not how the spiders would pick it up...

but then I know now nothing related to google's habits.

Above such statements, I am almost positive, I have found sites that do this, and are still listed on google...and not the far links but the ones on the first page.

With such statements, ..........I have no idea, I'm fasting currently, and can't think/don't want to think toooo much regarding it.

Yes, because those sites pay Google off to remain on the first pages.
