Hi all......again another "stupid" question :)

I took a domain from co.cc and free hosting from x10 (the best webhosting site ) but when I made the account here on x10 they asked me about the domain but only with certain extension so I choose something at random. The hosting account has been activated and now I do not know how to connect the co.cc domain (which I want ) with my x10 hosting account....Am I a lost cause or what?! ) thank you for your time.

1. Go to https://x10hosting.com/control/login.php , signin with Forum username/password . Top menu:
HOSTING --> modify domain
uncheck Use an x10Hosting subdomain as my account's main domain
fill in your co.cc domain

OR

2. cPanel and then

a. Add as parked domain. You get to keep your current main domain while your co.cc domain will point to the exact same material

b. Add as add on domain. You get to keep your current main domain while your co.cc domain will point to different content, stored starting in a subdirectory of public_html

Either way, the system sometimes takes 24-48 hrs to full update the servers so it can match the domain name with your files. You will see a light blue defaultwebpage.cgi while that is happening. Don't panic. Yet.
