Make sure you have unique topics, try to eliminate query strings on your content and 'PHPSESSID's!

My suggestion is if you are using a script for forums or similar, there are ususally MODs or modifications to improve your forum. Try seeing if there is a SEO MOD for your forum (if you have one).
