Second post here at x10! Just wanted to say a unique experience, either that or my meds aren't working. I have had problems with my account since day 1 with this hosting company but it has a few redeeming qualities that make me stick it out. I like the idea of the java chat very fast responses and helpful. I do have a few questions I would like to hopefully get answers to.
1. Ftp ? uh how to link from my website to public_ftp? I need to let people download my templates. I tried to access it like ftp://ftp.mydomain.elementfx.com/ with my browser first firefox then ie so Im guessing no directory browseing. I just want to include them in links from my website is all really?
2. Is front page enabled by default? I logged in with ftp and saw the iis looking folders in there and personally I was hoping for a simple empty web space to organize the way I want. Is there a way to do that? I'm sure there is but like usual I dont want to spend more than an hour looking for the solution.
3. Sqlite support? Can I use version 2.0x? Can I make a subdirectory underneath the doc root and have it writable?
4. Last question? Can I use WinScp for file transfer instead? I have been useing fireftp, but would like to use the other if possible? Shell Access???
