HI, I am new here and having a serious problem, I was uploading images to a directory on my hosting account when suddenly I was hit with a 522 Disk Full error.. and I was unable to upload anything anymore.

I am a paying customer of X10 Premium, and have been for a few years, and this is the first time I have had this problem. When I was trying to login to the clients helpdesk, I kept getting this error "An Error Occurred, Please Try Again." I know my user details, and when I tried again, it said that "this action wasn't allowed."

When I tried to find out what was causing this issue, I made an alarming discovery. It was a test forum, that was previously set up by X10 staff, while looking into a support issue from years ago regarding a MyBB install, that was being used for spam. As soon as I realized what was going on, I logged into my PhpMyAdmin and deleted the db for that test forum, and I then deleted the directory folder in my file manager associated with it.

The sql came out to be 335MB in size, which was larger than the db used by my forum, and the folder turned out to be about 650MB. But even though I deleted these things, I was still unable to upload anything, and I don't know what to do. I also deleted the mail account associated with it, because it had more than 60k emails and was about 650MB itself and yet, still after deleting this, I was still unable to upload anything.

And now, the situation has gotten worse, I cannot take backups in PhpMyAdmin, at all, and now my cPanel is having issues too, saying that it couldn't write to a file because the disk is full.

What do I do?

I am not sure when, or how this happened to be honest, I have been on this host since 2018, and I haven't had much trouble until now. Over the last year, I wasn't as active on my account because I had spent most of 2022 moving and so I had no time to do anything except update the software on my forum to keep it secure. As for the other forum, I took a backup of the sql db before I deleted it, just in case the staff wanted to look it over or something.

If I'd known that the support staff had made a test forum, I'd have deleted it as soon as the staff was done looking into my issue.

I apologize if this is the wrong place, or isn't allowed, but this was literally my last resort.. and I have no way of contacting the support ticket staff as a paying customer.

Please help.

Thank you in advance for your time.

*edit 7:32 PM EDT*

The disk full issue seems to have resolved itself for now, but I am still unable to log into my x10 client portal..

there is no services associated with your forum name.
these forums are generally for the free x10hosted accounts.

i am not aware of the "test" forum you mention.
or the other issues you are having.

i can try to raise an alert to staff to see if they can help you.
although it might take a while for staff to reply.

Hi thank you for the response, I deleted the test forum, and everything that was on it including the directory and the db it was linked to, and the Disk Full issue seems to have resolved itself, but I still cannot login to the x10 premium client helpdesk..

I have 2 sites hosted on this service, one of them is private, and I use a different username, but want to retain my privacy and keep things separate from my business account. So, I need to contact someone privately about this, as I don't want to post the account publicly.

Anyway, the account in question is the one associated with my personal domain, which used to be on a free account years ago, but in 2018, I upgraded to a paid account.

I haven't been able to log in to the X10 Premium client portal on either of the domains I have on this host. One is my personal site which is private, and the other is for a business. I remember the details for both accounts just fine. But I still cannot log in. I am worried that I might've been banned by the system.

I had similar trouble when I was using Nord VPN for privacy when traveling, and the ip was previously whitelisted by X10 staff so that I'd be able to access both sites.

Hello,

Sorry you are having issues with the clients dashboard.

Can you kindly attempt to do a full password reset from our premium portal : https://clients.x10premium.com/sign-in/reset-password

Hi Eric, Thank you for the link and the response. I have reset my password, but am still confused as to why this happened.
After a certain period of time inactive accounts passwords will expire to prevent accounts from being hacked.

As for the disk full issue that may be possible your service was stuck during a quota refresh that needed to complete.
