You can use the file manager in cpanel to have a look at the contents of your websites, it has a code editor that you can use as well. Just remember that your site is in the public_html folder, to edit your sites index page, just find the index.html file in that folder and use the code editor to change it.
You could also use a ftp client to connect to it and upload a new index.html file, you can create new ftp users in the ftp section of cpanel.
