[Resolved] Hosting a Torrent Tracker
I've read many posts through the search feature and I seem to find different answers to this. Corey said here that is was okay as long as you were only seeding your files. Some other posts had a flat "no" attached to them.
The reason I'm looking at doing this is because there are some legitamate files that I can't fully host on x10 because they're far too big. Most of the filespace websites out there bombard you with ads for a full 30+ seconds before letting you download at generally abysmal rates.
One webhost I used a few years ago banned it due to gobbling up extra resources, which seems fair to me (even though they also removed MySQL for the same reason). My question is: Can I host a BT tracker to track EXCLUSIVELY my own files (created by myself)? If so, if there is a preference as to which program to use (maybe one that's more efficient with resources), I'll be glad to do whatever..
And a after several reads of the ToS I can just find reference to "copyrighted files, mp3s, programs, warez, or torrents."
