Choose a password where? There's no place to enter a password. I'm not retarded you know, I can read.

But on the other hand you win this month's stating the obvious award.

Your client area password is used during signup. change it according to requirements first then request hosting account again.

I changed it, my password has 8 characters, so it's definitely within 1-16, but I still get the error when I try to sign up again.

You should cancel this signup attempt first by click on "Cancel Attempt" Button where you got this error.

After that Go to http://x10hosting.com/signup.php and signup again.

I tried that before, and it still came up with the error. I put in the same username, choose a domain, agree to the terms and conditions, and sign up, go to the hosting control panel, and...

Oh. It worked this time, and it didn't when I did the exact thing before. Weird.

Well, thanks very much, I'm certainly not going to complain that it sorted itself out. :)
