Hosting Account Space Upgrade

I believe I am in need of upgrading my space. I tried to log into my cPanel and got this message.

The filesystem mounted at / on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operations have been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partion.

The message means that the shared data store (the physical disk partition that you are sharing with all of the other users on your server) is full (or nearly full). It has nothing to do with your account (unless you've managed to upload enough to break the server for everybody). cPanel and FTP operations are suspended when the disk is full to prevent damage/corruption of your files. It's going to take an admin with file system (at least; occasionally someone at the data centre has to physically attach more disk space to the storage system) access to fix the problem. Be patient.
