hosting doesn't work

I tried to download Joomla and template.
You have to sit in front of your pc to keep the FTP working...as the download stops at random.
After we had the patience to download...it just doesnt work

If I bring in the URL:

http://webgarden.x10hosting.com/joomla/

I receive a page with a lot of sex adds!!

Even not an error page.

Is this guy stupid...or is this hosting crap??

Actually you are somewhat clueless as to the proper way to install joomla and a template. I have no problems with my joomla and have added 3 templates to it.

So as far as "this being a crappy" host i would rephrase your comment to something more like"maybe i need to learn how to install and work a website properly"

How about uploading the joomla to the correct folder properly? First off you can use fantastico to install joomla. Then you can log into joomla administration panel and find "Installers/Templates-Sites" browse your PC for the template you wish to install and upload and install it. Then go to Main configuration and set the "New" template to Default and then you are done.

Dear Sir,

I run more than 10 different websites. I do run 3 Joomla sites.
So I guess I know a little bit how it works.

I did install Joomla into a new Joomla directory. Something I always do, and which is part of a correct installation.

So still looking for a reason why
htto://webgarden.x10hosting.com
doesn't work

Also looking for a reason why I receive sex adds in place?

This is what i see. Which tells me that you have not installed joomla correctly.
If you had then i would not be seeing a page without an index.

As far as the "Sex ads". We don't use them or even have them. It is something that you must have downloaded somewhere.
