Hosting Issue

Ok, so I just transferred here from Awardspace. I updated the nameservers. Now at school I could log in to my cpanel, view the default index file when I went to my site name. I'm home now, and when I go to my site it redirects me to awardspace's page. When I try to log in to my cpanel, it says Failed to Connect in FireFox.

EDIT: Ok, it's all good at my house now. Anyone care to explain why this happened though, for future reference?

It takes some places longer to get the new DNS settings.

Blah...Ok, can you explain why it was working fine at home just a few minutes ago, and now it's back to awardspace?
