How can i find who...?

I've made a newsletter, this newsletter save all the email addresses in to a text file i've put all this files into a directory and protected via apache .httacces file
Now i've found in my page stats that i have many 403, i tryed to download the raw logs but they are empty.
So how can i find the ip of this "person"?, or, is an other way to protect the emails?
