How can I make my own forum

hmm... I am just a novice in web designing and I only knowledge is the basic html(of course I can make my own page) but my site is under construction... can you help where I can learn to make a forum inside my site... any help would do for me I am willing to learn... thanks a lot:dunno:

Hello,

I suggest you create a sub-domain called "forum.xxxxxxxxx" and then install your forum in there, you can do this very easy by using "fantastico" from the "cpanel". If you want something easy to start off with i suggest starting with "phpbb2", have a play around with it then move on to something more powerful if that is what your looking for.

I would HIGHLY recommend not trying to code your own forum, as such attempts tend to be highly security-flawed and painfully basic. It's always best to use a tried and trusted forum software such as SMF.

just like supajason said.... just login to cpanel and go to fantastico, there you an find some forum softwares to be installed. then just follow the instructions in the fantastico.
